ICS-Calendar
Display upcoming events from a shared Google, Outlook, iCal or other ICS calendar.
Instructions for using the Plugin
In Google Calendars
- Create a Calendar
- click the little down arrow next to this calendar in your list of Calendars
- Share this Calendar – Make this calendar public
- Calendar Settings
- Select the same time zone as your WordPress site timezone
- Calendar Address – click ICAL and copy the URL it will look something like this:
http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/kkam7t2l5rdo86fp4ortjms3u4%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics
In WordPress
- Install and Activate the ICS Calendar plugin
- Settings -> ICS Calendar
paste the Calendar address URL in the “URL to ICS File(s)” field - Save Changes
- Add calendar to your sidebar using “ICS Calendar” widget
- Add calendar to your pages using the shortcodes as demonstrated in page tabs here
