My website has a new spring look, just in time for the Spring Classes. This new look, compliments of the Arras Theme. Take it for a test drive on the Arras Theme subsite.

today I installed the Premium Theme – Thesis from DIY Themes – I also installed it on the Theme Tester site

There’s what they claim it does:

The WordPress Theme for Serious Online Publishers

If you’re after search engine traffic, easy customization without coding, world-class usability, and real live people ready to help when you have questions, Thesis is the WordPress framework for you.

Ask yourself:

  • What if WordPress users had more control over their blogs and websites than they’ve ever had?
  • What if they had a simple options panel to accomplish tasks that would normally require coding, with little or no required knowledge of HTML and CSS?
  • And what if all that came bundled with search engine optimized code and a stunning design that helped publishers and site users alike accomplish their goals?

Well, there’s no “what if” about it.

When you’re developing webpages, a handy tip to know is “How to force a refresh”.

This comes in handy when you’re making changes and reviewing your webpage to make sure the change  was what you had expected.   Due to a brilliant mechanism called a cache, sometimes you’re changes will not display when you’re reviewing the page.   If you hit the refresh button but don’t see your changes on the page, you probably need to “Force a Refresh”.  This is simply a key-stroke combination:

Windows Ctrl+F5

Ctrl+Shift+R

Shift+Reload button

Mac OS Cmd+F5

Cmd+Shift+R

Shift+Reload button

Linux Ctrl+F5

Ctrl+Shift+R

Shift+Reload button
